Do you offer an Aftercare service?
Yes, our aftercare, called Adventure Zone, runs from straight after the school day ends, until 17:30 every afternoon. There is an extra cost for Adventure Zone and holiday activities. The children are fed a hot meal daily, including fruit at about 15:30. Homework is done with Grade 1 to Grade 7 children. This runs through every holiday, with a break during December. Special holiday activities are planned during school holidays to make them exciting for children who are not going away. Children who do not usually attend aftercare may also join these holiday activities.
Do you offer religious studies?
We are a non-denominational school. We focus on the foundational cornerstones of life which include basic fundamental values such as kindness, patience, respect and compassion. We do this by offering three different approaches: Biblical studies in which the Bible stories are used to impart these values; Jewish Studies in which focus is placed on Jewish traditions; and Moral Studies, which is offered to students of all other religions and those families who prefer that their children learn about religion at home. Each parent chooses the approach that they would like us to use.
